What this is…
Heidegger coined the term “Technological Attunement,” which put simply, means to be attuned to being a technological resource that is on stand-by.
While it’s perfectly fine to conceive our computers, cars, or telephones as technological resources that are on stand-by, this perspective has pervaded much of our modern life. We constantly seek optimization of our functions, our social skills, and our downtime (amongst many other things). Moreover, we can even reduce other people in our lives to their functions: Store clerk, customer support, Uber driver, boss, etc.
From this perspective, everything becomes a technological or functional resource that needs to be improved upon so that it is either more efficient, or spends less time on stand-by. In fact, much of modern self-help and personal development takes this perspective of the self being deficient: We are not enough, lacking, or otherwise damaged in some way, and we are encouraged to engage with different practices and tools to resolve this deficiency.
In my work with, we take a “Poetic Attunement” to life, which includes the radical assumption that you are already enough as you are. We explore what is here right now and experiment with new ways of engaging with the questions that are presently at hand. Together, we learn to live the questions, examine fixed beliefs and identities that hold us back, and work to uncover new possibilities for being, living, acting and relating in the world.
I bring my tools of Parts, Process (Somatics) , and Presence work to help us sit with what’s here in the moment, and to discover how we can unfold into fuller expressions of ourselves. My job is not to “fix” or “ improve you,” but to help you sit with what’s already there, get un-stuck, and unfold it into what it wants to be.
I’ve worked, practiced, and studied for almost a year to transform how I work to better embody and share what I believe will bring the most positive change to our lives, and the world around us: Acceptance of what’s here right now, compassion for all life, and deepening contact and connection with ourselves and what’s around us.
Now, I take my new ways of working to a wider audience to get feedback for how it all comes across.
What you’ll get…
Personal Unfoldment
Get clarity on who you are, what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it; As well as tools and insights for profound self-acceptance, and deeper contact with yourself and your fullest expression.
3 1:1 Exploratory Sessions
A one-and-a-half hour discovery session plus two ordinary 1-hour sessions at whatever pace suits you (maximum once per week). All sessions are 1:1 and on Zoom.
Insights and Tools
Beyond the deep dives, we’ll put time aside for meta conversations where we can talk about our sessions, and see what’s needed to fill in the blanks
What I need from you…
Feedback
At the end of the exploratory period, I’ll schedule a final call with you to get feedback on the process.
Questions I will ask include: “How would you describe what I do?” and “What has unfolded for you?”
Testimonial
Together, craft a longer form testimonial (~100 words) as well as a shorter blurb (10 - 20 words) that I can use for my self-promotion. We’ll do this during our feedback call.
I typically anonymise testimonials.
Communication
We’ll keep an open line of communication as we progress so we can adjust and iterate based on what is and isn’t working for you.
No sense in only learning key lessons at the very end!
P.S. If it’s not clear at this point, the exploratory sessions come at NO CHARGE to you
How this works…
We will begin all sessions with 2-minutes of silence, where I ring a bell and I invite you to begin to settle into the space with me.
From there, we do a quick check-in to see what’s real for us right now: How are we feeling? What’s in the air?
If this is our first call, we’ll spend more time getting to know each other and talking about what has brought you to this space and what you’d like to work on. I’ll spend a bit of time introducing my work and answering any questions you might have.
Then, we look at what’s here with you right now, really get into contact with it, and begin to get curious about how it all wants to unfold…
✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
The first call is for us to get to know each other, see if we’re a good fit, and want to work together. We’ll take time to introduce each other and to see what we need to create a safe and brave enough space for what wants to unfold.
You’ll tell me a bit about yourself as well as what you’re bringing to our sessions, and I’ll share a little about the tools that I use.
We’ll start experimenting with my tools during this call too so that we can get a better feel for each other, although please remember that you reserve the right to call a stop to things at any time.
If our first call goes we’ll discuss next steps and set an agenda that we can grasp gently while remaining open to where the process takes us, and staying with what’s present for you.
The core of my method is to work with whatever thoughts, emotions or fears are coming up, and to be with them exactly as they are. A willingness to see what's there and be with it is all that's needed for us to work together.
-
The first discovery session is all about us figuring out if we want to work together. There’s no obligation to commit and we have the space to decide what is or isn’t right for us.
Bring your questions, concerns, and curiosities to the table and let’s move towards clarity together. If you want to participate but feel anxiety or mistrust around stepping into the unknown, then bring that feeling to our call! I work with what’s here and true for you, so if this is what feels real for you, then let’s start by being with those feelings together.
All work is “real” work and there’s no need to feel shy about taking our time with things.

About Namora
I had a difficult start to life that left me riddled with questions and insecurities: Paternal abandonment, maternal enmeshment, poverty, abuse, racism, immigration, and a host of mental health issues.
I grew up rejected by much of my family and culture and much of my life was a quest to fit in and find my place. The question that followed me was “who do I need to be in order to feel safe and to be accepted?”
Overtime, I learnt to wear a mask to fit in with "the normal crowd” as hustles, high-risk activities, and big achievements became the name of the game. But on the inside, I always felt timid, uncertain and like I didn't belong. I worked hard and studied hard because I was told that I was supposed to. Eventually, something cracked and I realised that I had been wearing the mask for so long that I had forgotten who I really was.
With help, I had to face my shadows, see what’s at play, and let go of the ways of being that had helped me survive, but which kept me stuck in the past and repeating old patterns.
Today, I extend my tools, grace, and compassion to those around me. Together, we sit with rage, grief and anxiety and unfold them into presence and transformation.
